If only the contents of the books I transfer from library shelves to my house could as painlessly be transferred to my brain!
When I started on the trip towards a PhD I had little idea where the journey would take me.
Now that I'm pulling together diverse threads and ideas, I find there are many more ways of looking at my data than can easily be held in my head or contained in one weighty volume.
So how do I deal with these heaps of books cluttering my space, and the PDFs swallowing my digital memory? When do I reach the saturation point? How do I know when to stop looking for more and more inspiration and actually construct my own sound arguments and pack everything that I don't know how to say into a thesis?
And what makes me think that I can do it anyway?
'Scuse me while I panic!
If only it was that easy....
